Ms Sofia Gardini
Mrs Irene de Marini

I am Scuola di Sofia's founder and headteacher. I am curriculum coordinator and teachers' supervisor. I am also at the core of the creative aspect of our school and the mail developer of the learning resources. Aside from the managing side of things, teaching remains for me the most fulfilling experience at school. The classroom is the place where I feel most comfortable and I just love the special relation I can create with my school children. I feel very lucky to have a special place in their young lives.

I have an extensive 15 years experience in teaching all sorts of ages and language levels, so you can be sure you will always find the right class for your child at Scuola di Sofia.

Ciao! I am Irene, a native Italian teacher. I have years of experience working with children and supporting their learning in different areas. I am an energetic and outgoing person, and love to build relationships with my pupils, getting to know their different personalities and supporting them in fulfilling their potential. Scuola di Sofia gives me the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for teaching children and my enthusiasm for Italian language and culture. I enjoy stimulating my pupils' curiosity towards Italy and its language, and allowing them to discover and appreciate their Italian roots is the most rewarding part of my job.

Miss Federica Martini

Ciao! I am Federica, native Italian tutor and writer, with a warm and chatty personality. After taking my Master Degree in Languages in Rome, I moved to London to pursue my career in teaching and search inspiration for my novels and poems, some of which have been published. I have been working at Scuola di Sofia Italian School for a few years now, and, about this job, I particularly love the way children learn in new inspiring and fun ways. Working with them is exciting and a constant way of challenging and improving myself as well as having fun and growing as a teacher.
