At Scuola di Sofia Italian School, we believe in the countless benefits that studying a foreign language from a young age can bring to your child. Our classes are engaging, fun and creative, with an inspiring approach to learning that promotes confidence and develops the cognitive skills that are so important for your child’s academic future.
We encourage interaction and the social aspect of learning, creating an Italian-speaking school community where your child can learn, connect and thrive. We offer Italian classes for children of all ages and levels, from 2 to 18 years old, from preschool through to secondary school, as well as classes for adults. We also prepare students for their Italian GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Scuola di Sofia’s main school is based in Raynes Park, where we run our Italian Preschool, Italian Saturday Primary School for children, with both Bilingual and Beginners sections and Italian Secondary School. On Sundays, you can find us in the Isle of Dogs, where we run our Italian Sunday Primary School for both Bilingual and Beginner children. During the week, we offer online learning through a wide range of live, interactive classes, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Whether your children struggle to speak Italian despite having an Italian background, or they simply want to take up the learning of a new language, Scuola di Sofia is here to help them improve quickly and achieve brilliant results.
If your children can already speak Italian, our school will help them become confident readers and writers in the language, while developing the grammar knowledge you want them to have and giving them a taste of the rich culture and traditions of our beautiful Bel Paese.
Scuola di Sofia offers Italian classes in Raynes Park and in the Isle of Dogs, London. We offer online classes for children, groups and one-to-one, and adults.

Join us for a magical festive celebration full of Christmas cheer, family fun and community spirit!
Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of delicious refreshments, bouncy castle and slide, an exciting raffle, and lots of fun mini-stalls for children to enjoy.
